Basic Wilderness Survival

The Core Wilderness Survival Skills
What you are going to learn

Our Wilderness Survival

We provide high level, real world training courses in Modern Practical Survival Skills. These courses put the target on training you in skills that could potentially save your life during real world wilderness emergencies. Unlike many skills that are demonstrated on TV survival shows, the skills you learn in these courses will guarantee you a fighting chance to make it out of your predicament, regardless of location, environment, season or weather.

When you find yourself in a survival situation you could very well be someone’s super hero. You may be the only one in your circle of influence who takes the initiative to learn some basic lifesaving survival skills.

If the time ever comes when you are tested, don’t fail them. Learning survival skills isn’t just about you. It’s about using those skills to help other people. Do not wait until it is too late. Act now. You have an obligation to protect and provide for those who need you.

Many companies who have employees working in remote locations are required to ensure their employees are properly equipped and trained to deal with hazards associated with their working environment and location. Ensure you mitigate your risk and are covered by training your employees. Due diligence is the employer’s responsibility.

Who takes survival training? Well there are lots of preconceived notions out in the world as to who actually takes these courses, in reality there are as many types of people taking survival training as there are notions. The reality is that people from all walks of life take survival training courses. Hikers, campers, miners, environmental scientists, prospectors, outdoor adventurers, snowmobilers, hunters, corporate types looking for a change of pace, those who work as guides, rangers, and camp counsellors just to name a few.
If you want to learn fundamental survival skills, this is the course for you!

You will receive professional training that develops your ability to survive in the Canadian bush, using only the resources nature provides and items found in a standard survival kit.
